As an Area Maintenance Manager within Infrastructure and Sustainability, Kevin Marks oversees complex maintenance operations across campus, coordinating skilled trades—including electricians, A/C mechanics, carpenters, plumbers, and painters—to ensure Georgia Tech’s facilities remain safe, functional, and running smoothly. Known for his reliability and professionalism, Kevin has earned the trust of building managers and colleagues across campus, who consistently share that when he is assigned to a project, it will be handled thoroughly and done right. His nearly two decades of consistent, high-quality work have made him a dependable and respected presence in campus operations.

 

Kevin’s steady approach and calm leadership, especially during urgent or high-pressure situations, reflect a deep commitment to operational excellence. His work is central to Infrastructure and Sustainability’s mission to maintain and steward Georgia Tech’s built environment. By leading teams through both planned maintenance and unexpected challenges, Kevin helps ensure buildings remain operational and ready to support the campus community—providing the reliable foundation that keeps the Institute moving every day.
